Garrick hit the first home run for St. Mary's since 2011, but it wasn't enough as errors absolutely turned a winnable game into a 13-3 loss.
The 6th/7th grade committed 9 errors, while the other team only recorded one legitimate base hit.
Routine grounders turned into absolute nightmares. If one of the fielders got it cleanly into the glove, their throw would end up completely offline. And at times, when the throw was to first, the first basemen had trouble handling it.
Allen started and pitched three innings and Michael came in and completed an inning of relief.
Benjiman did catch a pop up in the 4th inning.
Unless the rainouts are reschedule, this was the last 6th/7th grade baseball game of the year.
