Wednesday Night Tournament Recap

The 6th graders bounced back from their loss in round one with a 34-17 victory.

Jason Lei had a career high of 20 points in the win and Jonathan played just three days after injuring himself and scored 6 points in three quarters of play.

Missed lay-ups were a theme in the game that kept the score somewhat close.

This was a game where even though the boys dominated, it felt like a game they should've won by a lot more.

No better example than Jason L. who struggled in the 3rd quarter on the offensive end, and he dropped 20 points in the game.

After an intense and close game Sunday, this game was a lot more relaxed and the tension wasn't as high.

With the win, they will go on to the Consolation Championship Game Saturday at CYO Serramonte. Tipoff scheduled for 3 p.m.

4th grade beaten in round two
Not so good news for the 4th grade who were beaten 23-3 after they won game one on Sunday.

It was a game coach Justin Lee described as a "David vs Goliath" with the other team playing the role of the latter.

Outmatched in every facet of the game, the 4th grade was limited to what it could do on both ends of the court.

They will conclude the tournament Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. from CYO Serramonte.
