The 8th grade bounced back from a sluggish first game with a convincing 29-6 win in the second round of the CYO preseason tournament.
It was an intense physical game which saw the 8th grade take a 9-0 lead into the 2nd quarter.
With the game pretty much decided after the first seven minutes, the remaining three quarters were a bit of a slugfest with some hard fouls and unnecessary physicality by both teams.
Both teams should've been called for several more fouls but the referees were not very tight with their calls.
Seven of the eight players on the 8th grade scored with Jason Ng leading the way.
With the win, they advance to the tournament championship game next Sunday.
Raymond started the game without a jersey.
