The Playoffs Begin Tonight...So Does My Beard....

The real playoffs start tonight. The Stanley Cup Playoffs start tonight!

At 7:30 p.m., tune your TVs to CSN. Channel 40 on most cable systems, and Ch. 696 on Direct TV. It is the beginning of the most exciting playoffs in professional sports -- HOCKEY, HOCKEY, HOCKEY!

What else does it mean? I will not be shaving again. I have done this in the past, but I don't know how much everyone remembers it. But it will get gross. And if all goes according to plan, I won't have to shave until June.

A playoff beard is the superstitious practice of a National Hockey League player not shaving his beard during the Stanley Cup playoffs. The player stops shaving when his team enters the playoffs and does not shave until his team is eliminated or wins the Stanley Cup. (source: Wikipedia)

I say you do it too boys and girls. Don't cut anything. Don't even get a haircut. And girls, don't shave your mustaches either.

Sharks vs Ducks, 7:30 p.m. tonight. Be sure to tune in.

SUNDAY PRACTICE SCHEDULE
6th grade - 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
8th grade - 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
3rd/4th grade - 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
7th grade - 4:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
