6th/7th grade squeaks out a win

The 6th/7th graders snapped out of their two game winless streak and got a much needed 2-1 victory late Saturday afternoon..

After playing sloppy to start the game, and giving up the first goal, the 6th/7th graders rebounded and scored two unanswered goals in the first half, and held the lead the entire second.

Alan tied the game on a penalty kick with his eighth goal of the season in the 1st quarter, and Jaime picked up his first career goal off a corner kick from Joseph in the second.

They had some good opportunities to add on but a lot of their shots towards the goal were not good contact and the one goal lead stood for the duration of the entire game.

Their record is now (4-1-2).
