The 6th/7th grade and the 8th grade baseball teams played their first games of the season. Both were shutout in losses.
Michael started for the younger team and Joseph got the nod for the 8th grade.
Fiona, who is one of two girls (Rebecca) to play baseball this year, pitched an inning in relief and struck out two.
The 6th/7th grade plays again tomorrow.
Girls Rec League: The 7th/8th grade rec league season came to an end when they were beaten 42-20 in the playoffs Saturday afternoon.
