The 6th/7th grade pushed across a run Sunday afternoon, and Allen pitched 4 innings for a complete game. But the end result was a 13-1 loss.
Michael scored on a wild pitch accounting for the team's only run of the game. They had previously loaded the bases with no outs and were able to push across just one run.
It's still, as expected, a big work in progress for the boys, but a good final half inning of defense that saw Allen catch a pop up and throw out a runner on a come-backer are nice places to start.
