Baseball team shutout in latest outing

When a team can't generate anything at the plate, they need good pitching and good defense. Today, the baseball team got neither.

Again, errors and walks lead to a six-run third inning, which put the game out of reach. The final score was 10-0 as the baseball team was shut out for the first time this season.

The runs scored in the third were all unearned. Errors to start the inning drove Tommy's pitch count up as he soon began to wear down after a decent first two innings. It continued to snow ball as they committed four errors in the inning and a 3-0 deficit lead to 9-0 hole.

After the game officially ended, the other team offered to continue to scrimmage. The lone bright spot then came when Brandon hit an opposite field triple that scored Gary for the team's first run of the game.

Derek made two nice plays at third, but both times, the ball was dropped by the first basemen.
