Jonathan Sanchez makes history

Giants starting pitcher Jonathan Sanchez tossed the team's first no-hitter since 1976, as he struck out 11 in a 8-0 victory last night at AT&T Park.

What's the big deal?

Sanchez pitched 9 innings and didn't give up a single base hit. No hitters are rare feats in the game of baseball, similar to scoring I'd say 50 points in basketball, 5 goals in a hockey game. It happens only a few times each season and sometimes it doesn't even happen at all.

The only reason Sanchez pitched was because there was an injury to Randy Johnson.

A pretty amazing feat and worth watching if you didn't see the game or highlights last night.

Below is every single out of last night, definietly worth watching.

And here is the celebration when Sanchez got into the Giants clubhouse after the game.

Be back tomorrow night.
