7th grade beasts, while 5th grade rests

The 7th grade broke open a tie game at halftime and were on the winning end of a blowout, scoring a historic team high of 28 points in a 28-8 victory.

It was a very promising two days of basketball for the 7th graders who were blown out in their opener Wednesday night. They were resilient and have made great strides in only half a week.

Part of the reason for this improvement is Pablo, who scored 8 points in today's game. He adds another quick ball handler to the team and will be a good tandem with Hartman for this upcoming season.

Hartman matched Pablo for a game high of 8 points as well, with all of the Hart Man's points coming in the fourth quarter.

Stuck in a 4-4 tie going into the half, the 7th grade broke it open with a dominating second half where they held the other team to only 4 points in the last two quarters, and none in the fourth.

Anthony Shem scored two points in the fourth quarter.

Briefly: The 5th grade won via forfeit in their final tournament game, since the other team didn't even participate.
