8th grade girls improve to 2-0, 4th/5th graders show improvement

Via forfeit, the 8th grade girls are now (2-0). They were scheduled to play the same team that they had beaten last week, but unfortunately the other team only had 4 players.

The 4th/5th graders played their second game of their young CYO volleyball careers and are making great strides. The most notable came today from Ivy, who served the ball over for the first time this season, and did a really good job of returning balls off of the other team's serves.

They lost the first set 25-15, and were tied at 10-10 in the second before eventually dropping the final set 25-14.

The young ladies are again in action tomorrow at 3:45 p.m. @ Good Shepherd (909 Oceana Blvd, Pacifica).
