4th/5th grade shut out

The 4th/5th graders were shutout earlier this afternoon in their first game of the year. It was apparent from the start, that the team has yet to find their chemistry and are adapting to game speed.

Despite that, they have a good amount of scoring chances, but were unable to convert them. This game should serve as a good learning experience as to what needs to be done to compete at a higher level.

BRIEFLY: Raymond made his soccer debut and was knocked over on an attempted header. However, he got back up and was one of the bright spots of the game...Garrick plays with reckless abandonment, something that this team needs. He was knocked down on several occasions but got right back up immediately.
