This time, errors doom 5th.6th graders

After four innings, the 5th/6th grade baseball team trailed 3-1. Then the floodgates opened.

Just like how the 8th graders couldn't put together a solid defensive ending, the 5th/6th graders gave up 8 runs in the fifth inning and that led to a 11-2 loss.

Missed grounders, pop-ups and poor throws led to the inning of destruction.

And like the 8th grade, the 5th/6th graders are still confused as to which base to cover or throw to, how to properly throw a ball towards a base, a lot of the basics.

Yes, they've made some nice, strides since the beginning of the year, but familiarity with the game is still lacking.

Justin looked his sharpest to date as he pitched four strong innings, giving up only three runs.
