7th/8th grade girls lacking offense in Rec League

The 7th/8th grade, playing without Cynthia, saw their offense got into a complete funk, as they lost their third game of the season 18-6.

Physically, they were no match for the other team, as this 7th/8th grade team looks like it is built on skin and bones.

Nobody on the team plays or has the size of a true power forward or center, even a their age level, and that's problematic when they have to contend with teams that are bigger and stronger.

According to James, one of the coaches for this rec league, the other team had just about three times as many shots as the St. Mary's girls' did, and therefore the final score also read the same.

Victoria, Edwena and Kelly all had a basket each.

One way to beat size is with speed and quickness, but that's also a point of emphasis that the girls need to get better at in the upcoming games.
