6th graders going back to the championship

For the second straight year, the 6th grade girls are going to play for the championship.

After a 20-10 over Star of the Sea Saturday, they will meet St. Thomas More next Sunday night at St. Emydius for their second title in as many years.

Kaela started for the first time in over a month and had a game high 11 points.

After being held scoreless the entire year, Adrianna finally got into the scorebook hitting her first shot of the year. Lily also hit a free throw.

Defensively the girls played pretty well and they rebounded, which are two keys for their championship.

The 6th grade girls dropped both meetings to St. Thomas More.

They lost the first one in overtime and the second one by 10, which was played without Kaela.

Michaela added 6 points in the victory.
