5th/6th grade back to .500, 8th grade dominates again

The 5th/6th grade played their best game ever Friday night in a 30-20 victory, to even their record now at (2-2). Remember, this is a team with 5th and 6th graders playing in a 6th grade division, and the same team last year that won only one game.

After winning their first game of the year, they dropped two straight, but came out ready to play today and it showed. Calson put up a career high 17 points. Fabulous performance by the team. It's a quick turnaround as they will have to work just as hard tomorrow, when they play at Epiphany at 11:30 a.m. If you are by, (even if you aren't) come show your support.

The 8th grade played a team they beat handily in their first game of the year, and repeated that performance and more for a 44-14 victory. After jumping out to a 7-0 lead, they continued to be the aggressor, and were much faster than their opposition. Good fast break points and making lay-ups, ingredients to success, were very pertinent in tonight's game. They are now (4-1) on the season.

Audience Watch

Good crowd tonight at Mission Dolores. Emstance, Mr. Ryan, Tianna, Daniel, Brandon, Sophia, Olivia and Vivian all in attendance tonight for the 8th grade victory. Thanks for coming out.

6th Grade plays tomorrow, 1:30 p.m. at Cuhna.

Midseason reports return Sunday with the 3 Stars of the Weekend.
