Just got back from a first of mine at least. I witnessed two players that I coached previously play against each other. Susan, who graduated 2 years ago and plays for Lowell, played Clarissa, who graduated last year and plays for Galileo.
No surprise as to who won, as Lowell is the best at everything, which is why I despise them. But nonetheless, it was pleasant watching two of our former students compete against each other. It has probably happened in the past, but this is the most recent one and noteworthy to me because I coached both of them for several years.
Maybe one day you will end up playing someone who is sitting next to you in class...only time will tell.
Tomorrow we take a look at the 3rd grade team and their first half of the season as we begin the midseason report cards.
