Christine powers 6th grade to a big win

With Kaela out for the third consecutive game, it looks like the 6th grade has found someone to step up in her place.

Christine scored a career high 6 points and continued her string of games where she contributes on the offensive and defensive ends.

On a fast break in the second half, Christine was sent hard to the floor and a timeout had to be called in order for her to regroup and compose herself.

Then she stepped up to the free throw line to knock down both shots.

She also scored a breakaway layup and hit a shot right by the basket off of a nice Michaela pass.

It's those type of efforts the 6th grade needs as Kaela continues to recover from injury.

Michaela had 6 points and Lily added in 4 points.

Their record now sits at (4-3), good enough right now for second in the division. They have already clinched a playoff berth.
