6th grade baseball forfeits again

For the second straight week, the 6th grade boys only had seven players at first pitch and had to forfeit.

It was another disappointing and wasteful day at the field for the ones who are committed to show up and play.

The team can't get any traction because it has had poor attendance at practice and games.

This is a team that was (3-5) last season and made the playoffs.

But for whatever reason, several players from last season are not on the team, and some of the new ones aren't consistently there.

They play Sunday in their sixth game of the year, so we hope at least.
