6th graders take brief lead, but lack of d costly

After an hour of play, the 6th grade baseball team was leading 8-7. And they only played one full inning.

The other team jumped out to a 7-0 lead, and then the 6th grade answered right back with an 8 run outburst, the first time they've hit the 8 run mercy limit in an inning.

Unfortunately, the defense did Allen no favors as they had a lot of trouble catching the ball the entire game.

The final score was 18-8 as the 6th graders dropped their fourth game of the year.

Adam did make a nice catch on a pop fly in the third.

The team has two games this weekend, one Saturday and one Sunday.
