Derek and Elliot represented St. Mary's today in the annual CYO Achievement soccer game, featuring some of the best 8th graders in San Francisco.
The two were split up and placed on different teams, but the outcome was a 0-0 tie. Derek opened some eyes and got two really good shots on goal in the 4th quarter.
You could even overhear some fans talking about how Derek was quick and almost scored on two separate occasions.
Elliot, on the other hand, played some solid defense. And according to Derek, there was one Derek vs Elliot encounter when Derek stole the ball from Elliot's feet.
Congratulations to both of the boys for their accomplishments this season.
