Turnovers doom 7th graders in game one

The inability for the 7th grade team to break a press led to a sloppy performance and a 22-11 loss in round one of the CYO tournament.

They simply could not break the press -- lob pass after lob pass, turnover after turnover, mistake after mistake. Players in the first quarter looked unprepared and they set the tone for the entire game.

Miles and Mark played probably the best out of the two teams. The deficit was cut to as close as 9, but neither team is made to play catch-up.

They'll try their luck next this Friday night at 6 p.m.
