6th grade clinches playoff spot

By Jessica

The last game of the 6th grade girls’ regular season was probably one of their best ones. Their offense was great, but their defense was even better. They held their opponent to 1 point the entire game in a 20-1 victory.

Despite having only 5 girls, all of them played well and showed great effort. Because the team played such good defense, the other team had to take outside shots. The other team did not make any shots until the last quarter of the game. The opponent made only ONE free throw the entire game.

With the win, the 6th graders clinched a playoff spot and will be playing in the post-season for the first time ever.

CELEBRITY SIGHTINGS
The entire 8th grade team, excluding one team member showed up for the game. Jeremy was also in attendance.
