Can you believe this is Post #300?
Track and Field will be this Saturday at S.I. -- the annual track meet for all the schools in CYO.
Students from grades 3-8 can participate in this great event. The day starts at 10 a.m. with races -- 50 M, 75 M, 100 M, 150 M and 200 M runs. Field events include long jump, high jump, softball and frisbee toss.
The most exciting event of the afternoon are the 4 x 100 relay races where 4 runners team up to pass the baton around the track.
More details will be sent home tomorrow, but plan to be there this final event closes out the school year.
NOTE: I will be producing the sportscast tonight on Ch. 5 -- tune in at approximately 11:25 p.m.
