7th grade clinches playoff berth -- Practice schedule tomorrow

The 7th grade stepped up to the plate today and delivered, winning their final game of the season 19-10 and clinched the third spot in their division.

It was a good team effort as they were stellar on both ends of the court, playing good defense and hitting some timely shots. At (4-4), this will be there first trip to the post-season.

Emily and Tianna both scored 8 points in the win.

8th grade wins to close out regular season

The 8th grade scrapped their way to a victory and won 28-13 to finish (7-1) on the regular season. It was a sloppy game, going up against a very physical and rugged team. Although not their best effort, they put together enough baskets, and played some really solid defense, holding the opponent to just 13 points.

Olivia hit two 3-pointers and had a game-high 15 points. Shari, in two quarters of play, had 8 points.

3rd/4th grade falls in finale

The 3rd/4th grade dropped their final game of the season 10-2. Cynthia scored the lone bucket.

The 7th and 8th grade will be in action later today, 3 p.m. start for the 7th grade and a 4 p.m. start for the 8th grade.

Both games are at St. Emydius. (699 Jules Ave)

6th grade - 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
7th grade - 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
