5th/6th grade struggles against first place team

If the 5th/6th grade doesn't find a way to close the gap against the team they played Friday night, they could be facing an early playoff exit.

Locking up against the top team in the division, which came into the game undefeated, the boys were outmatched, outworked and outplayed in the final game of the regular season.

The team did not play to their capabilities and fell 25-10, their most lopsided loss of the season.

It will not get any easier because it's very likely that the 5th/6th graders will get a rematch against this team in the playoffs.

There was a reason the team they played was (8-0) as they had a few players with skills probably not suited for this low division.

But there is nothing that anybody can do about it at this point, so the 5th/6th graders need to get over that roadblock if they want to make it further than just one playoff game.

Adam, who has been one of the top rookies at St. Mary's this season struggled and was held scoreless.

Jacky had a team high 4 points, while Spencer, Eric L. and Andy all had 2 points each.

At (5-3), the 5th/6th graders had already locked up a playoff spot, but it's going to be an uphill battle if they want their season to be longer than just one more game.
