Everything but the points for the 3rd grade

The 3rd grade girls did everything but score in their latest loss Saturday.

Like many other games the girls have played this season, they were able to get off plenty of shots, but the problem was their shots weren't falling.

The only one that did was Justina's in the 3rd quarter that made it 7-2 at the time.

Up against a very physical and quick team, the girls did more than hold their own, and could've pulled off an upset had some of their shots gone in the basket. Problem is that they didn't and they lost 11-2.

Scoring and making shots is a huge problem right now for the youngest girls in the school, as they have not scored more than 6 points in a single game this season.

Defensively, they are getting better by the week. The way they rotate the ball around on the offensive end and find open teammates is pretty good, but the final step in the process of making the shot is not working.

Halfway through the season, the girls are still winless, but playing a good game without the end result is still something positive that the team can build upon.
