4th/5th grade girls as close as you can get to victory

The 4th/5th grade girls held a 24-22 lead when Victoria served 5 straight balls over to give the girls their latest lead in a set. But in the 5th grade and grades lower, 5 is the limit. After the fifth serve, you must give the ball to the other team.

The girls needed to return serve, but unfortunately, could not do so. The other team's best server, who might be the size of an 8th grader, if not bigger, served four straight over and the girls dropped a heartbreaking set 26-24.

However, the girls came back strong the next set. Lisa, playing in only her second game, served 4 straight balls over to cut the lead to 17-16. The girls hung around but ultimately fell 25-20.

This was their best game to date and they should have a lot to feel proud of. They were consistently serving the ball over, calling out balls and showing improvement by the minute.

It was a fantastic game to watch as we are witnessing the beginning of something special.
