4th/5th graders draw in scrimmage, win by forfeit

The 4th/5th graders picked up their first official win of the season, via forfeit. However, if they played the game, it very likely could've been a win as well.

The 4th/5th graders scrimmaged, playing with 10 this week, got on the scoreboard first when Justin sped away from all the defenders, and just got enough of the ball, pushing it into the corner of the net, just inches past the goalie's fingertips.

This marks the third consecutive week that Justin has scored a goal and he has a team-leading three goals on the season.

They led 1-0 at the half, but yielded a goal in the second half of the scrimmage.

Instead of playing four full 10-minute quarters, they played two quick 10-minute halves. With the victory, they are (1-4) on the season.
