4th/5th graders so close to victory

The 4th/5th graders were on the brink of a winning a set, but ultimately fell short 25-22.

They were neck and neck into the early 20s and had the serve trailing 23-22. Unfortunately, the serve fell short and soon they would fall in the set. They lost the second set 25-10.

Despite the loss, this was a fantastic showing for the girls, as each girl was able to serve the ball over on more than one occasion. They are also starting to talk more on the court, communicating and showing real signs of greatness.

Everybody on the team contributed to this strong game.

Rachel, our Chinese school import, made her volleyball debut and served almost all of her balls over. This was a great way to wrap up a fantastic weekend of St. Mary's sports.
