Winning Saturday, First Soccer Win for 7th/8th Graders!!!

Some quick results and recaps for today. More elaborate game stories will be up by the end of the night, or by the time I go to sleep, around 3 a.m.

8th Grade girls volleyball wins again and improves to (4-0) on the season. This time they did it in straight sets, 25-18, 25-12. Emily served 10 straight balls over, the maximum you can serve before the ball is given back to the other team.

The 7th/8th grade soccer team picked up their first victory ever 2-1, behind a Derek penalty kick in the first, and a Tommy goal off a corner kick in the third. Not pretty, but the team wins their first game ever. Elliot played a strong game in goal.

The 4th/5th grade wins by forfeit, and then scrimmaged afterwards. If it was an official game, there's a good chance they would've won as well. They took a 1-0 lead on a Justin goal in the first half, his third of the season. They gave up a goal in the second half and the scrimmage score was a 1-1 draw.

Watch the Sharks tonight if you are home. CSN California, Channel 89 on most basic cable systems. Ch. 698 on Direct Tv.
