Stars of the weekend, Bad weather approaching

Such a huge weekend for all the teams that choosing only 3 stars would not do justice to everybody who played hard in their games.

However, each of the team's had their share of notables and we will recognize them.

4th/5th grade soccer

Justin scored his third goal of the season in the scrimmage and Aaron had another solid game.

4th/5th grade volleyball

The entire team should be congratulated as every girl served incredibly well. Each of the girls looks a lot more confident on the court and as a whole, they put together their best set of the season.

7th/8th grade soccer

Derek had a goal and an assist, while Tommy scored his team leading fourth goal in the first win ever for the soccer team. Elliot played a very strong second-half and played a huge part in the team's victory.

Justin was inches away from his first goal ever, but his kick hit the post.

8th grade volleyball

Michelle is definitely one of the most improved girls on the team and it has showed over the last two games. Tiffany Y. and Emily T. were great on the serves this weekend and Tianna had a great bounce back game. Sally also has quietly been one of the most consistent players so far this season.

WEATHER UPDATE
Until told otherwise, practices for soccer will go on as planned. The second there is a change, it will be posted here on the blog or on the St. Mary's Sports Twitter.
