Last year, the now 8th grade boys played in the championship against OLV. A player on OLV was the brother of a girl who played basketball at Sacred Heart. Her name is Tierra Rogers. Rogers was part of the great Sacred Heart girls basketball team of the last few years. SH at one time had the longest winning streak in the entire country and Rogers was a big part of it.
Rogers, a senior last year, got a scholarship to play at Cal, one of the best women college basketball schools in the country. And sadly, it doesn't look like she will get the chance to play.
