Volleyball Wrap-Up

The 4th/5th graders had a 8-2 lead, but failed to hold their lead, and lost their first set 25-14. They also lost the following set 25-12.

Quick turnaround tomorrow as they will play again at St. Emydius starting at 3:45 p.m. tomorrow.

8th grade forces third set, but can't pull it out

The 8th grade girls made a valiant effort and the results showed as they forced a third st after losing set one. Unfortunately, they were unable to come through at the end and they fall to (4-2) following a 20-25, 25-22 and 15-11 loss.

Their serves today were like the team that we have seen earlier this season, but the little crucial mistakes in such a tight game hurt them. The other team featured some tough servers, and the girls were unable to return a good chunk of them and that resulted in lost points.

Despite two straight losses, the girls have a good idea of where they stand and now know what they need to do to bring their game to the next level. They have improved drastically and will look to up their game for the final two games of the season.

8TH GRADE PRACTICE TOMORROW
8th grade girls will practice tomorrow from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. @ NDV.
